Messrs. Azhier Arisin & Co. wishes to extend heartiest congratulations to our senior partner Mr Mohd Azhier Farhan on his election as the Sabah Law Society's EXCO member for 2017/2018 term at the recent concluded Annual General Meeting (AGM).

Mr Azhier Farhan's election to the office marks his first foray into running as office-bearer for the newly created public statutory body -- the Sabah Law Society.

For the first time in Malaysia, there will be two statutory bodies regulating the legal professions, the Sabah Law Society and the Bar Council of West Malaysia.

In a press statement by the Sabah Law Society: “This historic moment therefore does not only provide recognition for the autonomy of the legal profession in Sabah but will also put the SLS on an equal platform to that of the Bar Council of West Malaysia.”

The recent concluded AGM held at the The Magellan, Sutera Harbour saw 5 posts won uncontested and further 8 posts were contested:
